76 Communications Regiment commemorates Remembrance Day at Algonquin College

By 76 Comms Regiment –

On 9 November, 2018 members of 76 Communications Regiment attended a Remembrance Day ceremony at Algonquin College, alongside Regimental Honorary Colonel Mr. Jim Kyte, Honorary Veteran Capt (Ret) David Carty, and members of The School of Military Mapping.

Mr. Kyte, now Dean of the faculty of Hospitality and Tourism at Algonquin College helped coordinate the parade.

Capt (Ret) David Carty, commissioned from the rank of Master Warrant Officer, retired in 1989 after 20 years of service with the Military Police. He served with the RCMP and assisted Algonquin College with their Security Program up until a well-earned retirement.

The event was well choreographed, and was followed by a post reception with culinary delicacies.
