    CFSU(O) HEALTH PROMOTION BUTT OUT BLITZ ~ TOBACCO CESSATION EVENT

    Register for the BUTT OUT Blitz to receive support and practical tips to help you quit tobacco for good.

    This special event is your “one-stop shop” – get everything you need to help you quit successfully, and includes a BUTT OUT session, a presentation on medication options by the pharmacy, and MO onsite to provide prescription, if needed.

    On invite les membres de l’Équipe de la Défense dans la région de la capitale nationale (RCN) à assister à une activité à l’occasion de la Journée Bell Cause pour la cause. L’activité se tiendra le mercredi 30 janvier 2019, de 10 h à 11 h, dans l’atrium du bâtiment 6 (6C.1.E08.C01) du QGDN (Carling).

    L’activité Bell Cause pour la cause : Engageons une discussion dans la RCN vise à rehausser la sensibilisation à la santé mentale et à réduire la stigmatisation entourant la maladie mentale. C’est une occasion de se renseigner sur les ressources accessibles qui peuvent améliorer le bien-être, de même que créer et maintenir un milieu de travail sain et sécuritaire sur le plan psychologique. L’activité mettra en vedette une conférencière qui racontera son histoire de résilience personnelle et parlera des diverses ressources qui lui ont été utiles, à elle et à sa famille, pendant qu’elle traversait cette période difficile.

    Durant l’activité, on invitera les employés à participer à une discussion informelle qui met en valeur la santé mentale de tous les membres de l’Équipe de la Défense. Cette discussion mettra en vedette les co-champions de la santé mentale, la sous-ministre Jody Thomas et le vice-chef d’état-major, le Lieutenant-général Paul Wynnyk, de même que le médecin général, le Brigadier‑général Andrew Downes.

    Des kiosques sur place offriront également des renseignements importants sur les services de soutien en santé mentale à l’intention des civils et des militaires.

    Tous les membres civils et militaires de l’Équipe de la Défense sont les bienvenus.
