    This workshop is a basic introduction to Islam and Islamic religious practice for individuals with no or limited knowledge of the religion. It will address the basic tenants of the Islamic faith and also discuss and challenge prevalent stereotypes about Islam and Muslims. The workshop will also discuss how Islamophobia may impact the workplace and examines how Muslims are affected by the negative public discourse about their faith and how to formulate strategies to effectively counter it.

    This presentation will allow CAF members and Public Service employees to learn about Islam and the issues faced by their Muslim colleagues.
