Peace at Last – The Boys Come Home tribute concert

Members of Army Voices (a choir sponsored by the Canadian Army) will join the North Lakeshore Chorus (a grouping of singers from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario) for a tribute concert to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War, and to honour those from the Dominions of Canada and Newfoundland who lost their lives on land, at sea and in the air, in what was supposed to be the war to end all wars.

The concert will start at 1930 hrs on Saturday, 10 November, 2018 at the Christ Church Anglican Cathedral, 414 Sparks Street, Ottawa, ON.

Tickets are $20 per person and will be available at the door the day of the concert, at the cathedral during office hours beforehand (613-236-9149), or by emailing the concert producer, Mr. Michael Korn.

    The first (pilot) serial of the Strategic Communication Enabler Course will be taking place at the National Printing Bureau from 3-7 December, 2018.

    Candidates will hear from strategic communication (StratCom) experts about information environment imperatives including hybrid warfare, perception management, target audience analysis, measurement, social media, and information operations, and they will develop a common and standardized understanding of StratCom concepts in a military context.

    The primary training audience is a diverse mix of officers, non-commissioned members and civilians from all occupations and functions impacting or operating in the information domain. Seats are limited to 24.
