This year’s family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, 8 June and will start at the National Research Council of Canada on 100 Sussex Drive, in Ottawa. It’s a non-timed event on a closed course, a perfect way for your family to spend a Saturday morning. In fact, trailers, child seats and trailer cycles are all welcome; just remember that each rider needs a helmet.
Registration costs include a cycling jersey per adult, a buff per child or two jerseys and two buffs per family. Prices are $65 per person, $20 per child or $160 for a family package which includes two adults and two children.
This year’s race also includes a Challenge Route with a longer distance for more experienced riders looking for more time on the open road. For those looking for an even more competitive event, the Admiral’s Cup is a 69 km challenge through Gatineau Park.
